Warehouse Supervisor Opportunity

At Stapleton's, our Warehouse Operations are the backbone of exceeding our customer's requirements and ensuring our hubs are thriving work environments.

Our Warehouse Supervisors lead from the front, providing direction and leadership to a small team of colleagues, working collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of the Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, providing direction and leadership to a small team of colleagues.
  • Ensuring the team comply with all company and departmental rules, safe systems of work, and quality procedures.
  • Maintaining effective communication links with both line manager, other shift managers, and team with pre-shift briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Using manual handling and MHE to manoeuvre tyres of various weights and sizes.
  • Leading by example and promoting essential safety standards, good housekeeping, and site best practice at all times.

About You

  • A natural leader and motivator of people and teams, with experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar role in Supply Chain or similar industry.
  • Ideal candidate has licences and experience of MHE (VNA, Reach, Counter Balance, LLOP).
  • Previous experience of working in and enjoying fast-paced customer-driven warehouse environments.
  • Must be well-organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good knowledge of IT and systems, and a keen eye for detail.
  • People-focused, with an ability to develop themselves and others professionally within a distribution environment.
  • Previous use of Warehouse Management Systems would be advantageous.
  • Happy to work in a physically demanding role.
