At Stapleton's, our Warehouse Operations play a crucial role in surpassing our customers' expectations and ensuring our facilities are productive workspaces.
Our Logistics Team Leaders are proactive and hands-on in their approach to team management. Their expertise, leadership qualities, and dedication to staff development are key to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborating closely with the Warehouse Manager to provide guidance and leadership to a dedicated team, ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Upholding compliance with all organizational and departmental regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards. Facilitating effective communication with line management, other shift leaders, and team members through pre-shift briefings and safety discussions. Utilizing both manual handling techniques and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to manage tyres of varying weights and dimensions. Setting a positive example by promoting essential safety practices, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to best practices at all times.About You
A natural leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, possessing experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within the Supply Chain or related sectors. Ideally, you will hold licenses and have experience operating MHE (VNA, Reach, Counter Balance, LLOP). Previous experience in fast-paced, customer-focused warehouse settings is preferred. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, proficiency in IT systems, and a keen attention to detail are essential. A people-oriented individual, capable of fostering professional growth for yourself and others in a distribution context. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems would be a plus. Willingness to engage in a physically demanding role is necessary.What We Offer
