Our Warehouse Supervisors lead from the front and are very hands-on when it comes to people management. Without their industry knowledge, leadership skills, and passion for people development, we would not be the successful business we are today.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, providing direction and leadership to a small team of colleagues, working collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of the Warehouse.
  • Ensuring the team complies with all company and departmental rules, safe systems of work, and quality procedures.
  • Maintaining effective communication links with both line managers, other shift managers, and team with pre-shift briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Utilizing manual handling and MHE to maneuver tires of various weights and sizes.
  • Leading by example and promoting essential safety standards, good housekeeping, and site best practices at all times.

About You

  • A natural leader and motivator of people and teams, with experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar role in Supply Chain or similar industry is desirable.
  • Ideally have licenses and experience of MHE (VNA, Reach, Counter Balance, LLOP).
  • Have previous experience of working in and enjoy fast-paced customer-driven warehouse environments.
  • Must be well-organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good knowledge of IT and systems, and a keen eye for detail.
  • People-focused, with an ability to develop themselves and others professionally within a distribution environment.
  • Previous use of Warehouse Management Systems would be advantageous.
  • Happy to work in a physically demanding role.
