Job Description
Learning Support Assistant


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at OMG HR Ltd T/As SENDirect. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, providing guidance and assistance to help them thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Assist students with their daily routines, including organization, time management, and study skills.
  • Help students to develop their social and emotional skills, promoting independence and self-confidence.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and a willingness to support students with diverse needs.
  • Basic knowledge of special educational needs and disability (SEND) principles.
