About the Role

Morton Fraser LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Real Estate Division, you will provide legal advice to commercial real estate clients, negotiate contracts on their behalf, and advise on all matters involved in the purchase, sale, development, and leasing of commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drafting and Negotiating Contracts

Draft, negotiate, and agree forms of contracts for sale and purchase of commercial real estate assets, ensuring that all agreements are comprehensive and meet the needs of our clients.

Financial Management

Be proactive in the financial control of all your own and team matters, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.

Team Collaboration

Contribute constructively to the work of other team members/teams in the Real Estate Division, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that drives success.

Business Development

Participate in and support business development initiatives within the Real Estate Division, helping to drive growth and expansion.

Requirements

  1. Experience

4-6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with relevant commercial real estate experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and its complexities.

Personality and Skills

You are personable, good at building and developing client relationships, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
