This position offers a unique chance to play a crucial role within a well-regarded practice that boasts a significant footprint across the UK, recognized for its expertise and dedication to client service.
Role Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for spearheading and expanding the firm's Commercial Real Estate practice in Scotland. With an established clientele, the incoming Partner will engage with a variety of clients, including major developers, investors, corporate occupiers, and public sector entities.
Key duties will encompass:
- Overseeing and enhancing a portfolio of prominent clients.
- Guiding and mentoring a team of proficient real estate attorneys.
- Implementing business development strategies and uncovering new avenues for expansion.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure a cohesive service delivery to clients.
- Offering strategic counsel on intricate real estate transactions, such as acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Partner with a solid history in the Scottish market, although those at Senior Associate or Director levels will also be considered. A deep understanding of the local real estate environment and the ability to navigate complex, high-value transactions are essential. A robust network within the industry and a commitment to client satisfaction are crucial attributes.
Essential qualifications and skills include:
- Significant experience as a Director or Partner in a Commercial Real Estate practice.
- Scottish Qualified Solicitor.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Scottish commercial property landscape.
- Demonstrated capability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- A client-focused mindset with an emphasis on delivering superior results.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
