Exciting Opportunity for a Psychology Graduate

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychology graduate to join our team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at a highly regarded primary school in Harrow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience in the education sector, working with students with special educational needs and supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual support to students with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom
  • Assist students in engaging with their lessons and learning, promoting interaction and participation
  • Support students with reading, writing, and other academic tasks
  • Monitor student progress and collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to update on progress
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and contributing to a positive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate or in their final year of studying with a degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or a related field is desirable
