Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Grooming Specialist to join our team at Dogwood, a natural pet grooming salon within our Pets Corner stores. As a Pet Grooming Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional grooming services to dogs of all breeds, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and salon presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Groom and style dogs to the highest standard, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the running of the spa, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our clients and their pets.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a hands-on approach to motivate, train, and develop your team to meet our high standards.
  • Responsible for the sales performance of the salon, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Manage appointments, ensuring efficient and effective use of time.
  • Deliver high standards of customer service, building strong relationships with our clients and their pets.
  • Ensure first-class spa presentation, maintaining high levels of housekeeping and equipment maintenance.

  • Proven experience of dog grooming to a high standard.
  • A confident and positive approach to handling dogs.
  • Strong customer focus, with a desire to get to know our clients and their pets, building strong relationships.
  • A thirst for continued training and team development.
  • The drive and determination to work equally well as part of a busy team and under own initiative.
  • Willingness to pass grooming knowledge to trainee stylists.
