About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at 306 North London NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in assessments and intervention, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to individuals, carers, families, and groups.

Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a qualified Clinical Psychologist to work with our team of healthcare professionals. You will have a Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology and registration with the Health Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist. Your knowledge of the theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies, as well as your skills in the use of complex methods of assessment and intervention, will enable you to provide expert care to our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist assessments with clients referred to the team based on appropriate use, interpretation, and integration of complex data from various sources.
  • Formulating and implementing plans with shared decision-making for intervention and/or management of young people's mental health problems, based on an appropriate conceptual framework of the client's problems.
  • Implementing a range of interventions for individuals, carers, families, and groups, including adjusting and refining formulations, drawing upon different explanatory models, and maintaining provisional hypotheses.
  • Evaluating and making decisions about intervention options, taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models, as well as highly complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes that have shaped the individual, family, or group.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Knowledge of the theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies.
  • Knowledge and skills in the use of complex methods of assessment and intervention.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
