Job Title: M&E Project Manager - 6 Months Fixed Term Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of project management from start to finish, ensuring projects meet VIRTUS standards for timelines, budgets, and quality. As a key member of our team, you will provide regular updates, compile reports, and ensure compliance with PMO processes. Health and safety is a top priority, and you will drive continual improvement in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage build projects across VIRTUS Data Centres, ensuring clear project scope and minimizing variations.
  2. Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and FM teams for timely delivery.
  3. Prepare and track necessary changes, ensuring approval before proceeding.
  4. Oversee final commissioning and handover to Operations.
  5. Manage project costs and report progress to the Programme Manager.
  6. Liaise with external consultants and third-party suppliers.
  7. Provide project management support for additional works as needed.

Key Person Specifications:

  1. Experienced Project Management professional ideally certified.
  2. Excellent background in Mechanical and Electrical projects.
  3. Proven ability to manage budgets and track finances.
  4. Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
  5. Skilled in risk identification, analysis, and management.
  6. Excellent communication skills to include stakeholder management.

Remuneration package and benefits:

Up to £70,000 pro-rated, plus a range of benefits including private healthcare, pension contribution scheme, eye and dental care benefit, discretionary bonus, income protection, life assurance, cycle to work scheme, annual travel card loan, tech scheme, and electric car scheme.

In line with VIRTUS' Vetting Policy, the successful applicant must be willing to undergo a BS7858 screening process.
