Job Summary:

XAD Technologies LTD is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical and ICT systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive electrical and ICT systems, including ELV, ICT, and security systems.
  • Interpret and analyze client-provided drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from Initial For Construction (IFC) drawings and manage estimates using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with SIRA regulations and successfully pass inspections as per SIRA law.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to support commercial and technical discussions with clients, leading to successful project bids.
  • Attend pre-sales meetings and deliver presentations to clients alongside account representatives.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with leading vendors in the security and low current system industry.
  • Engage in project planning, tracking, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Submit detailed weekly reports on all ongoing projects, highlighting any escalations and project-based cost savings.
  • Provide on-site supervision, installation, and commissioning of assigned ELV & ICT projects.
  • Handle the design, troubleshooting, installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV and ICT systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, IPTV & SMATV, Telephony, Gate Barriers, Audio Video Intercom, and Biometric Attendance Management systems.
  • Ensure system configurations meet client specifications and operational requirements.
  • Attend clarification meetings with clients and consultants to resolve queries and ensure alignment on technical and design expectations.
  • Engage with various vendors to secure optimal solutions and incorporate their systems into project designs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, ICT, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in ELV, ICT, and security systems design and estimation.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of SIRA regulations and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management software.
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with leading ELV and security system vendors.
  • Strong background in BOQ preparation, estimation, and project cost management.
  • Experience in system troubleshooting, installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
