Job Overview

Care Home Manager - Ashburton (Two Sites)

A senior management role is available at the Ashburton District Council to lead and manage two care home sites. The ideal candidate will possess effective leadership skills and have experience in managing care facilities.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate can expect a range of benefits, including STI bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Adherence to Regulations

Maintain the highest standards of care and support for residents, adhering to all relevant regulations and policies.

Maintain Operational Efficiency

Formulate and monitor operating budgets for the facilities, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to drive operational performance.

Liaise with External Contractors

Oversee facility maintenance and liaise with external contractors to ensure that any necessary repairs or upgrades are completed efficiently.

Develop Strategic Plans

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive operational performance and improve the overall quality of care provided to residents.

Foster Strong Relationships

Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community, providing a high level of customer service and support.

Requirements
  1. Proven Experience

The successful candidate will have proven experience in care home management or a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care services.

Leadership Skills

Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills are essential for this role, as well as budget management experience.
