About the Role

We are seeking a talented Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Public Sewer Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and implementing occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support in implementing and developing Occupational Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems
  • Undertake regular quality assurance inspections of ongoing and completed works, ensuring that any identified issues are addressed appropriately
  • Maintain and produce SHEQ statistics, ensuring compliance with Company policies and legislation
  • Liaise with enforcing agencies, clients, and other stakeholders, including face-to-face and virtual meetings
  • Support accident/incident management and investigation processes, ensuring that investigations are of sufficient quality and lessons learned are communicated
  • Undertake regular quality assurance inspections of incoming and outgoing wastes to ensure legal compliance
  • Audit compliance with Company policies, procedures, and legislation in line with ISO accreditation maintenance
Requirements

We require a NEBOSH Diploma (desirable) or NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety Management (essential). We can provide training to ensure you are ready for our industry - Energy and Utility Skills Register (EUSR) SHEA (water/other/multi-utility).
