Job Title: Contract Safety Coordinator

Our client, a renowned aviation company, is seeking an experienced Contract Safety Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of safety within the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Policy Development:
    • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessment, and management.
    • Perform/lead risk assessments when required for the CAMO department.
    • Monitor the implementation of actions taken to mitigate risks, as listed in the safety action plan in collaboration with the CMM.
    • Carry out periodic audits and report on safety performance to management.
    • Ensure the maintenance of safety management documentation.
    • Ensure that there is safety training available and that it meets acceptable standards.
    • Provide advice on safety matters and ensure the initiation and follow-up of internal occurrence investigations.
  • Training and Education:
    • Provide training and guidance to staff on safety-related matters, promoting a safety-conscious culture within the organization.
  • Collaboration with Regulatory Authorities:
    • Liaise with aviation authorities and participate in regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor safety performance metrics, analyze data trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety standards.
    • The role of a Contract Safety Coordinator requires a deep understanding of aviation regulations, safety management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and a strong commitment to ensuring the highest level of safety within the organization's operations.
