Director of People

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Director of People to lead our HR Team in a strategic capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to modernise our HR function, making it more effective and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  2. Lead the HR function in a true strategic capacity, providing expert advice to senior leadership and management teams.
  3. Establish a modern and strategic HR function, shaping the role and HR function to meet our business needs.
  4. Implement a new performance management system, ensuring it is fair, transparent, and effective.
  5. Create a new learning management system and develop L&D initiatives that drive business growth.
  6. Develop a diversity and inclusion strategy, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  7. Develop necessary policies and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  8. Shape a more flexible working culture, exploring new ways of working that benefit both employees and the business.
  9. Identify and implement HR projects that drive engagement, organisational development, and modernisation.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies.
  2. Strong leadership experience, managing an HR team at a strategic level.
  3. Experience in the commercial sector, preferably in a leadership role.
  4. Experience in diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives.
