We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Hospital Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the East of England Ambulance Service. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a range of urgent, emergency, and critical situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, treat, and manage patients in a variety of settings, including emergency departments, acute medical units, and critical care units.
- Provide effective clinical leadership and mentorship to operational personnel, including newly qualified paramedics and students.
- Contribute to the development of an integrated approach to the delivery of unscheduled/out-of-hours care, working with health and social care organizations.
- Operate in a wide range of environments, including urban and rural areas, managing everything from birth to end-of-life care, chronic conditions, and critical illness or injury.
- Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
- Hold a full UK manual driving license with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience (maximum of 3 penalty points for minor motoring offenses only).
- C1 category license to be obtained within 6 months of joining EEAST.
- Mentorship qualification or willingness to obtain within the first 12 months.
