We're looking for a Pre-Hospital Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Cambridge and Peterborough. As a key member of our frontline service, you'll work alongside Paramedics and other pre-hospital clinicians to provide high-quality patient-centered care.

Main Duties:

Assess, treat, diagnose, and manage patients in urgent, emergency, critical, or out-of-hospital settings.

Provide effective clinical leadership, development, and mentorship to operational personnel, including newly qualified paramedics and students.

Contribute to the development of an integrated approach to delivering unscheduled/out-of-hours care involving all relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
  • Full UK manual driving license for 12 months (up to 3 points may be considered dependant on point code).
  • C1 category license to be obtained within 6 months of joining EEAST.
  • Mentorship qualification or willingness to obtain within the first 12 months.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Pediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) or equivalent.

We work alongside 17 Acute Trusts with Accident & Emergency services and a Major Trauma Centre in Cambridge.
