Financial Controller Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing a full Management Accounting service to the company, including delivering the month-end close and consolidation of group accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes to support business growth and decision-making
  • Manage the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to support company governance and audits, and deliver business reporting and analysis to support the company's goals and ambitions
  • Take ownership of VAT reporting and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent)
  • Industry experience in the TV, film, or creative sectors
  • Self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
