Job Title: Asset Management Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Project Lead to join our team at Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and sustaining projects and services for the agency, ensuring they meet the needs of residents and beneficiaries through an asset-based community development approach.

The role will involve managing and developing Healthwatch as a local independent consumer champion for health and social care services, ensuring it provides a focus for the voices of citizens.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience of leading and line managing project teams to achieve performance targets and milestones.

They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including commissioners, partners, and related organizations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, implementing, and monitoring an independent annual Healthwatch work plan, linked to the overarching goals and priorities.

They will also oversee robust research and intelligence systems to enable Healthwatch to effectively and constructively challenge how health and social care services are both commissioned and provided.

The role will involve working closely with the Chair and Board to ensure quality and accountability, and contributing to the planning, development, management, and sustainability of projects in conjunction with the Project Development Manager.

The ideal candidate will be an ambassador for the agency, representing it at various forums and events, and producing reports, case studies, and other written material as required.

They will also be responsible for upholding the agency's Core Values at all times, and complying with its policy and procedures, including safeguarding and other compliance procedures.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to equality and diversity, and will be able to recruit, support, train, and motivate volunteers as required.

They will also be responsible for undertaking any training and development deemed appropriate, and undertaking any such duties required by their Senior Manager or the Chief Executive.

The salary for this role is £32,713 per annum, pro rata, and the contract type is permanent.
