Consultant Psychiatrist

The Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our established multi-professional team at the Memory Clinic at Coltman Street, Hull. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing complex cases, formulating treatment plans, and working collaboratively with nursing and psychology services to provide an assessment service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Diagnose and manage complex cases of dementia and other memory-related disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Work closely with nursing and psychology services to provide an assessment service
- Hold and maintain S12(2) and Responsible and Approved Clinician Status for on-call commitments
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement programs to ensure high-quality patient care

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have:
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months
- Approved clinician status or able to achieve within three months of appointment
- Ability to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty
- Makes decisions based on evidence and experience, including the contribution of others
