Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership and senior medical input to our CAMHS inpatient unit.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex cases and provide clinical leadership to the team
- Assess referrals and admissions, and develop care plans and treatment formulations
- Liaise and collaborate with other services and agencies to ensure effective care
- Implement the Mental Health Act and participate in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training, and provide educational supervision to trainees and other disciplines
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with:
- Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register or Specialty Trainees within 6 months of completing their CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Excellent clinical skills, knowledge, and experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Able to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training
- Experience in clinical research and/or service evaluation, and evidence of achievement in education, research, audit, and service improvement
