Job Title: Mobile Caretaker

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile Caretaker to join our team. As a Mobile Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our housing blocks and estates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and clean communal areas, including sweeping and mopping, external litter picking, leaf clearance, and cleaning bin areas.
  • Rotate bins regularly to ensure refuse chutes are clear and bulk bins are placed ready for collection.
  • Clean internal ledges, sills, handrails, balustrades, doors, walls, and remove cobwebs from light fittings and all surroundings.
  • Follow the removal of refuse from the dustbins/bulk refuse containers, hose down and disinfect the area.
  • Act as a point of contact and ensure good communication with all teams and departments, promoting a positive image and reporting any tenancy issues identified or suspected to the Housing Officer.

Requirements:

  • Experience in estate maintenance and caretaking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks.
