About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Public Health Scotland. As a National Clinical Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Scottish Renal Registry / Scottish Multiple Sclerosis Register and the newly commissioned Scottish Fracture Liaison Service and Scottish Robotic Assisted Surgery Audit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and influence multiple teams in producing, developing and promoting the work of the Scottish National Audit Programme, within existing and new programmes of work.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on clinical audit related matters to both internal, external, clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Initiate and manage these national audits, closing the audit loop and using the results to improve direct patient care, outcomes, reducing inequalities and variation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout Scotland to achieve the aims and objectives of Public Health Scotland.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council with experience in clinical audit and quality improvement methodologies or equivalent.
  • Education to degree level in a life science; hold the appropriate professional registration and have demonstrable experience in clinical audit.
  • Flexible, supportive, and motivational management style, capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout Scotland.
