About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Public Health Scotland. As a key member of our Clinical & Protecting Health Directorate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the achievement of our aims and objectives of improving patient care, outcomes, and reducing inequalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and influence multiple teams in producing, developing, and promoting national audit programmes.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on clinical audit-related matters to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Initiate and manage national audits, closing the audit loop, and using results to improve direct patient care, outcomes, and reducing inequalities and variation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout Scotland to deliver national audit programmes.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council with experience in clinical audit and quality improvement methodologies or equivalent.
  • Expertise in orthopaedics/fracture care or robotic surgery is desirable.
  • Flexible, supportive, and motivational management style with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
