**Job Description**
As an HR M&A Partner, you'll play a critical role in supporting our growth strategy by providing leadership and guidance on people aspects of M&A across our global regions.
You'll work closely with colleagues from various departments, including corporate finance, HR centres of expertise, and business collaborators, to deliver seamless acquisitions and integrations while ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR due diligence across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific, and/or US as required, assessing opportunities and risks associated with the target company's workforce.
- Benchmark and compare the target company's alignment with our arrangements, identifying cost implications post-acquisition/investment.
- Provide guidance on relevant legal people aspects of deals, explaining issues simply and maintaining compliance with global employment laws and regulations.
- Manage stakeholders, working with business leaders and HR teams to scope and deliver critical success factors within project teams.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and deliver effective people integration strategies, including organisational change planning, workforce planning, and operational integrations.
- Identify key talent within both organisations and develop retention strategies to ensure the retention of critical employees.
- Develop clear communication plans to keep employees informed throughout the M&A process, minimising disruption.
- Harmonise benefits and compensation structures to create equitable and competitive programmes for all employees.
- Act as a proactive HR Business Partner for the acquired business post-integration, assessing effectiveness, managing risk, and building relationships.
- Produce an M&A playbook for future acquisitions, incorporating due diligence reviews, templates, documentation, and adaptable approaches.
