Job Opportunity in Community Paediatrics

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Consultant to join our team in Community Paediatrics. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in community child health and be able to contribute to the development and improvement of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care to children and families in the community
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community paediatric services
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients
  • Participate in teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in community paediatrics

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team in NHS Scotland. As a Paediatric Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, and contribute to the development of our community paediatric services. You will be based in Dundee, with the possibility of working in other locations across Tayside.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience in community paediatrics or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
