About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Trading Desk Operations Specialist to manage the operational side of our trading desk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring trading tools, managing and updating complex spreadsheets, optimizing existing processes, and developing new tools for the desk. Our trading desks are central to our collaborative office environment, and we believe the best way to integrate new hires is through a hands-on, interactive approach.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced team members to learn the flow of the trading and settlement cycle, and the regulatory and operational considerations of each step. As they become more familiar with the day-to-day operations of the desk, they will dedicate increasing amounts of time to programming, assisting traders more directly, or building out the firm's infrastructure.

We are currently recruiting for two intakes - one intake to join as soon as possible in 2024, and one intake to join in September 2025. Our trading desks are responsible for trading thousands of financial products across 200 trading venues around the world.

  • We don't expect you to have experience with functional programming, OCaml, or finance for this position; we're happy to hire talented engineers in this role and teach them what they need to know
  • Fluency in English is required
