Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Kingfisher. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a key role in delivering a portfolio of internal audits across the Kingfisher Group, ensuring that our financial, operational, and technology controls are robust and effective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform risk assessments on key financial and/or technology processes and/or e-commerce related business activities to identify major risks and ensure they are understood and addressed.
  • Conduct audits and risk-based reviews of financial, technology, and/or ecommerce-related controls to provide assurance that controls are working effectively.
  • Use appropriate tools and data interrogation techniques to support audit delivery and identify control weaknesses and assess associated risks.
  • Agree appropriate actions with senior management and leadership teams to mitigate identified risks and ensure issues are effectively resolved or escalated when necessary.
  • Prepare and issue reports for distribution to senior management and Board members, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or qualified auditor (CMIIA, CPIIA, or technology auditor (CISA, CISM, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of financial and/or technology controls and e-commerce retail operating processes.
  • Solid understanding of internal auditing, internal controls, and risk management.
  • Good understanding of technology, including ecommerce and digital technologies.
  • Confident using and interrogating large data sets and using data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
