Job Title: Premises Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Premises Assistant to join our team at The Burgess Hill Academy. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school sites are clean, secure, and safe for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the general care, maintenance, and servicing of academy buildings and grounds.
- Work within current health and safety legislation to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Provide a customer-facing and positive service to students, staff, and visitors.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, hygienic, and secure site.
Requirements:
- Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning, including DIY, painting, and decorating, as well as general garden maintenance.
- Experience of maintaining health and safety in a workplace.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Full clean driving license with access to own transport.
- Ability to work as part of our team and independently.
