Premises Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Premises Officer to join our team at Pound Hill Infant Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and secure Academy site, providing a customer-focused service, and performing caretaking duties including maintenance, janitorial, and portage tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe Academy site, including grounds and facilities
  • Provide a customer-focused service to staff, students, and visitors
  • Perform caretaking duties, including maintenance, janitorial, and portage tasks
  • Supervise external contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning, including DIY, painting, and decorating
  • Experience of maintaining health and safety in a workplace
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Full clean driving license with access to own transport
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
