About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Premises Assistant to join our team at The Burgess Hill Academy. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school sites are clean, secure, and safe for all users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the general care, maintenance, and servicing of academy buildings and grounds
  • Work within current health and safety legislation to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Provide a customer-facing and positive service to students, staff, and visitors
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, hygienic, and secure site
Requirements
  • Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning, including DIY, painting, and decorating, and general garden maintenance
  • Experience of maintaining health and safety in a workplace
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Full clean driving license with access to own transport
  • The ability to work as part of our team and independently
