Job Title: Insurance Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Team Lead to join our team at Ardonagh Advisory. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives and Development Executives, driving growth through improved retention, cross-sales, and new client sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the Account Executive/Development Executive team, ensuring they meet their targets and provide support on client issues.
  • Review the market and relevant sectors to identify new opportunities, performance against competitors, and provide clear advice and direction to the team.
  • Lead the team to deliver the best customer outcomes, meeting all Consumer Duty requirements, and work collaboratively with the Branch Director to achieve financial targets.
  • Implement risk management plans, ensuring every colleague meets risk and quality assurance requirements, and highlight trends to enable actions and mitigations.
  • Work with the Branch Director to highlight potential barriers to retention or new sales and promote opportunities for business growth, sharing good practice and ideas.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of managing teams to deliver revenue targets within a regulatory framework.
  • Demonstrable experience in a management role within insurance and extensive knowledge of the insurance industry, specifically placement and insurer relationships.
  • Proven track record of delivering top and bottom-line performance and growth, organically and inorganically.
  • Proven track record of improving business performance, income, and employee engagement within a regulated environment through effective sales planning.
  • Significant, proven experience of managing a P&L Budget.
  • Experience of managing client relationships.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with teams and stakeholders across the business at all levels.
  • People management skills, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and guiding others.
