As a Midwife Care Specialist with NHS Professionals, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, personalized care to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of women, partners, families, and carers, and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based midwifery care, including antenatal care, labor support, and postnatal care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
  • Identify high-risk pregnancies and develop strategies to mitigate risks and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • Variable additional certification and skills may be required, depending on the Trust.
