About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of women, partners, families, and carers, and develop personalized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening, to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies.
  • Identify high-risk pregnancies and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to women and their families.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years.
  • Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and ongoing commitment to professional development.
  • Relevant qualifications, including a Degree/Diploma in Nursing and Neonatal Rhesus and CTG training certificates.
