Job Description

Owen Daniels Consultancy is seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales plan, incorporating input from Purchasing, Customer Services, and Operations teams.
  • Implement and manage a Master Production Schedule, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) initiatives, collaborating with senior leadership to achieve key business targets.
  • Lead a cross-functional team responsible for achieving financial and customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain reports to ensure MRP parameters are within policy.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Support ERP projects to drive business optimization.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute Sales and Operations Planning (SOP).
  • Full understanding of MRP parameters and functionality.
  • Solid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilities.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing situations under pressure.
  • High competency level in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience in works order control and traceability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to drive results and obtain information from a team.
  • Proven team player with creative problem-solving skills.
Working Hours and Benefits
  • Monday – Thursday: 8am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8am – 1:30pm
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • 9% pension
  • 3x annual salary life assurance
