Learning Support Teacher

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is looking to reduce their hours or gain experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings.
About the Role: As a Learning Support Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to students with SEN. You will work collaboratively with the SENCO and other staff members to support student progress and provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons to students with SEN
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of SEN students
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO and other staff members to support student progress
Requirements:
- Degree in Education or relevant field
- Previous experience working with SEN students
- Demonstrated ability to manage behaviour effectively
- Strong understanding of SEN practices
- Excellent communication skills
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is £130 - £160 per day. As a Learning Support Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will also have access to a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and support from a dedicated consultant.
