Senior Genomic Research Scientist

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role:
We are seeking an innovative scientist to join our team as either Scientific or Principal Investigator in Genomic Technologies. The successful candidate will have excellent programming skills in R or python, knowledge of techniques in reproducible research, literate programming, FAIR data principles, or software development. They will be responsible for generating large-scale analysis outputs, implementing state-of-the-art tools for dynamically analysing, interpreting, and visualizing genetic and genomic data. This role offers a competitive salary, an annual bonus based on company performance, healthcare and wellbeing programmes, pension plan membership, and shares and savings programme.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline. Excellent communication and team-working skills are essential. Experience of evaluating, improving, testing, and/or developing statistical methods for analysis and interpretation of large-scale genetics or genomics data is desirable. Additionally, experience with genetic, genomic, epigenomic, or experimental/functional genomic data, and with state-of-the-art methods for data analysis and interpretation would be beneficial.
