- Provide strong leadership to engineering teams and establish clear lines of communication.
- Develop and implement a robust change control process.
- Ensure planning activity is embedded as a discipline within engineering teams.
- Interface with customers on all engineering matters.
- Drive a commercial approach to engineering to manage costs and implement cost-down initiatives.
- Develop and deliver the business line Engineering strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of building and leading high-performing teams in a product manufacturing and systems engineering environment.
- Proven track record of increasing quality, customer-focus and revenue growth through effective leadership of an engineering function.
- Led strategic decision-making and system governance for an engineering portfolio.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with experience working with data to influence business decisions.
- Experience of new and innovative engineering processes and digital technology.
- Experience in defining and implementing an Engineering strategy.
- Full product and system engineering lifecycle experience.
