Job Title: Head of Engineering

Job Summary:

Marshall Group is seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our Systems and Projects team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our engineering strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the engineering strategy for our Systems and Projects team.
  • Lead the development of new products and services, ensuring they meet customer needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the design and development of complex systems, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings, promoting our products and services and building relationships with customers and partners.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering results and driving innovation.
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and technologies, with a focus on systems engineering and project management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, with the ability to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Ability to travel, with occasional overnight stays, to attend industry events, conferences, and meetings.
