iO Associates seeks a proactive Technical Support Engineer to support and maintain cutting-edge systems. This role involves providing 2nd and 3rd line support for checkpoint automation systems, including remote and on-site maintenance of PC and server hardware.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Windows, SQL Server, and Linux environments, alongside network infrastructure. They will collaborate with development, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless system performance and maintenance.
Delivering technical reports and performing root cause analysis are also key aspects of this role. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Linux, and network infrastructure is essential. Proven problem-solving abilities with technical report writing expertise are also required.
This position requires relevant IT/Controls qualifications or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will be willing to support on-site across the region, including travel, and be flexible with office hours and available for out-of-hours support on a rota basis.
