Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5 tonne driver to join our team in Huntingdon. As a key representative of our client's brand, you will be responsible for delivering mattresses, bed frames, and furniture products to customers' homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lift and manoeuvre customers' orders, including beds, mattresses, and/or bedroom furniture, to the room of the customer's choice as part of a 2-man delivery team.
  • Engage all customers by communicating in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, ensuring they are left with a positive impression of our service.
  • Complete deliveries on time, to schedule, and ensure customers are left happy, keeping them informed by calling ahead.
  • Ensure your vehicle is clean and fit for the next delivery, representing our client's brand in our communities.
Requirements:
  • UK driving licence Cat C1 and a valid driver's CPC DQ card or digital card.
  • Previous commercial driving experience in a 7.5t vehicle.
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling experience.
  • Understanding of EU Driving legislation and tachograph law.
  • Desirable experience of using a PDA.
