About the Role
CRA GROUP LIMITED seeks a highly motivated Environmental Improvement Specialist to join our team in Tower Hamlets. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce waste and improve recycling rates. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with community groups and partners. As an Environmental Improvement Specialist, you will work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions. This may include designing and implementing incentive schemes, conducting outreach and education campaigns, and collaborating with local stakeholders to achieve shared goals. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of these initiatives and providing recommendations for future improvements.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently. If you have experience working in waste management, community engagement, or a related field, we would love to hear from you. Additionally, if you have a general level of education and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply. Please note that a DBS check is mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve recycling rates.
  • Design and implement incentive schemes and outreach and education campaigns.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on project progress and outcomes.

Working Hours and Salary: 35 hours per week, approximately £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
