Job Overview
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a highly motivated Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of medical equipment across our trust.

Main Responsibilities:
• Distribute and collect equipment loaned from the Medical Equipment Library
• Record details of equipment loans using our dedicated database
• Provide reception services for clients bringing equipment for repair or seeking information about equipment
• Record details of equipment repairs on our dedicated database
• Inform clients about the progress of repairs
• Provide consumables and disposables for medical equipment
• Offer administrative support to our Electro Medical Engineering team
• Assist with the operation of the Medical Equipment Library
• Perform safety testing of library medical equipment
• Verify the performance of library medical equipment

Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. If you have relevant qualifications, training, or education, that's a plus

Working Conditions:
This role requires the postholder to be proactive and highly organized, continually striving for service improvements. You will work closely with our team to ensure the safe storage and care of mechanical and electro-medical equipment and associated devices. A 'can-do' approach to your duties is essential, as you will need to demonstrate good communication skills and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Salary Range:
The estimated salary for this position is between £24,907 and £30,451 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
