Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Adult Autism Speech and Language Therapist to join our Mainstream Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a challenging role in a dynamic environment.

About the Team

Our Mainstream Schools team provides a school-based consultative assessment service which offers outreach support for both primary and secondary-aged students. We also provide a specialist stream service which delivers direct intervention for children and young people (CYP) with speech and/or dysfluency needs.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Deliver specialist clinical decision-making, including assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment, evaluation, and independent management of a diverse and highly complex caseload.
  • Be accountable for the development, delivery, and quality of services for children with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Provide specialist knowledge/training/advice in the specialist field, offering second opinions, clinical supervision, and working with students, volunteers, and assistants.
