**Job Title:** Medication Assistant - Hospital Setting
Location: NHS Hospital, Oxford
Estimated Salary: £15,500 - £20,500 per annum
About the Job:
Hunter AHP Resourcing is recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Medication Assistant to join an NHS hospital in Oxford. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting the delivery of medicines to wards and clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing and preparing medications accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with the delivery of medicines to wards and clinical areas
- Providing support to clinical staff with medication-related queries
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Participating in clinical audits and ensuring adherence to NHS protocols
Requirements:
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Experience working in a hospital or NHS setting (desirable)
- GPhC Registration (or in the process of obtaining it)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
