PhD Researcher: Spatial Data Integration for Cancer Treatment Response

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD researcher to join our team at the University of Cambridge. The successful candidate will work on a project entitled "Spatial Data Integration for Cancer Treatment Response".
About the ProjectThis project aims to develop novel computational tools to parse and integrate multi-modal spatial data from breast cancer patients. The researcher will be responsible for collating diverse data, placing them in a shared coordinate space, and unpicking critical correlations that underpin treatment effect.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will receive extensive training in cancer pathology, highly multiplexed imaging, and predictive modeling. They will work in a diverse and collaborative group that spans clinicians, pathologists, computational, and cancer biologists.
Requirements- Recent graduates or final-year undergraduates with a First/Upper Second Class degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Strong background in quantitative disciplines such as computer science and mathematics
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
This four-year studentship is funded by Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute and includes full funding for University fees and a stipend of £21,000 per annum for four years.
