Career Development Specialist

Establish a dynamic L&D function that drives growth and excellence within the organisation. Reporting to the Head of People, you will spearhead the implementation of our People Strategy, with a focus on Induction and Talent Development.

Our client is a leading provider of innovative solutions to not-for-profit and academic organisations, with ambitious plans for expansion over the next 2 years.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality learning initiatives with a supportive and inclusive approach.
- Design and implement a forward-looking Leadership & Management Development programme for colleagues across the business, providing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities and structured Career Pathways.
- Work closely with key stakeholders nationally and globally to achieve excellence and consistency in process and procedure.
- Conduct regular Training Needs Analyses (TNAs) across the business, reporting findings and recommending bespoke solutions.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the Learning & Development, Quality, and Academy teams, providing support, guidance, and development.
- Measure and evaluate the business impact of all L&D interventions and produce informative monthly and annual reports to Senior Leadership.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business and external partners to drive innovation and improvement.
Your Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- Demonstrable experience of developing robust L&D strategies in a fast-paced customer-centric environment.
- Experience of managing an operational training team and designing effective blended learning activities.
- An understanding of learning management systems and their effective implementation.
- A confident relationship builder and communicator with ability to adapt style to suit audience.
