About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join our team as a Mental Health specialist in a community setting. As a senior member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our healthcare services.

In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will be working with individuals who require support for mental health issues and learning disabilities. Your expertise and compassion will enable you to make a positive impact on their lives, promoting independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to NMC standards and best practices.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
  • To contribute to the development of healthcare services, ensuring they are person-centered and responsive to community needs.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, demonstrating effective communication and documentation skills.

Requirements:

  • Degree in nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid registration with the NMC.
  • Experience working in a community setting, preferably in mental health.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrate empathy, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary up to £39,496 per annum, pro rata, plus shift enhancements based on experience.
