About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Team Leader to join our team at Co-op Digital. As a Customer Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Customer Team Members, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, welcoming, and helpful service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing team, coaching and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational, managing stock accuracy and diligence checks.
  • HR Support: Provide HR support to the Store Manager, including deputising and delivering various HR processes.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with the local community, supporting the Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Customer Focus: A genuine care for the needs of customers and members, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility: The flexibility to work a range of different shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
