Job Summary

Al Jazeera Media Network seeks a seasoned Senior Executive to spearhead the distribution of its channels across the European region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing the availability, presence, and reach of our channels, while generating revenue through strategic partnerships and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue distribution opportunities across hotels, out-of-home spaces, and other platforms to expand our channel presence.
  • Convert leads into deals that enhance our distribution network and revenue streams.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with clients to ensure continued service and maximize distribution.
  • Analyze and evaluate hotel distribution deals to optimize our network's objectives.
  • Negotiate and renegotiate agreements to secure the best terms for our network.
  • Combat piracy by encouraging hotels and other platforms to sign license agreements.
  • Collaborate with third-party agents and representatives to achieve distribution goals.
  • Develop annual business plans with clear KPIs and work closely with the Head of Distribution to optimize costs and expenditure.
  • Support the Revenue Unit in revenue collection and attend key trade fairs, events, and conferences as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Media and Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a related field, preferably in media and broadcast.
